Your overwhelming support of the Cat Harley Connection show means so much...! Everytime you tune in it's a wonderful thing!  Please keep viewing and sharing and I'll keep you connected to all things beauty!

In today’s episode, I showed you a great blush application technique.
 Check it Out!

Blush is the last step in my makeup routine, and it really creates such a natural finish to my foundation process by bringing color to the cheeks, after the foundation application.

A top-secret makeup trick I shared with you today is using eyeshadow as blush.
I chose a matte pink shade, but your options are endless.  Some of my favorite shades of blush are orange, pink and red.

Hey yall!

Thanku for tuning onto another episode of TheCatHarleyConnection your growing support is much appreciated.  In today’s episode I showed you an application technique for your lips called “ombre.”

This is a skill that allows you to apply a lighter color lipstick in the middle of the lip and the outline of the lip is defined with a deeper shade of lipstick or liner.

The “ombre lip” was a hugely popular in the 9o’s and one of my personal favorite makeup trends.  I am very excited to see this trend making its way back around and super excited to show you how to achieve the look.

Ombre Lips
This a fashion statement that pairs well with any makeup look and it transitions well from a day to an evening look!! For a fact, I would love to see your interpretation of the ombre lip.  Just follow the video tutorial and take a selfie! I know you’ll learn to love it as much as I do!

I’m looking forward to bringing you the next CatHarleyConnection where you can stay connected to everything beauty. See you in 2 weeks at 1pm for the next episode on IG live

Thanku for tuning into the latest episode of The Cat Harley Connection.  Your continued support is much appreciated!!

In today's episode I shared with you my personal skincare routine.  These are the very same steps I take on a consistent basis to keep my skin clear and glowing!  Cleansing and moisturizing serums are included as well, just before moisturizer.

Keep in mind the advice I gave you on how serums penetrate deeper than moisturizers, so applying serums before applying moisturizer is  very important. This will help the long term results produce better results.

Create Perfect Brows with the Perfect Tools

Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the CatHarleyConnection, where
I keep you connected to everything beauty!

As always, I appreciate your support and your feedback. You've told me that The CHC Brow Series is one of your favs. That's why I appreciate you so much. We girls need to have each others back, so please keep sharing my tips within your circle...and keep your comments and feedback coming! I love it!

In today's episode, I demonstrated a super easy, beginner brow tutorial. Eyebrows can really pull a makeup look together, and the Cat Harley Collection Brow Series makes easy work of perfecting  your brows.
My brow series collection has five of the best tools for shaping your brows.
  • Defining pencil,
  •  Defining powder,
  • Double trouble brow brush (not just for brows – works great for smoothing down baby hairs),
  • Flatline brush
  • and a highlighter pencil.
The defining pencil and powder (shown in brunette and medium for this episode) are really buildable, so you can tailor the color saturation to suit your needs. Creating a bold dramatic brow or an everyday look? These tools are your go-to for a precise look with a quick application. In fact, our brunette pencil is very popular with our clients. It’s a versatile tool that works well with various skin tones and hair colors.
Cat Harley Collection

The defining powders in the Cat Harley Brow Series Collection are the perfect partners to the brush tools.  And you don’t need to pile on the powder. A little goes a long way toward setting a brow look that stays in place all day. That’s right. Reapplies not need apply!

As good as the defining powders are, if you want to stick with the pencils, that’s perfectly fine. Mix and match the products and have fun with them!
Introducing the “Mariah” unit

In addition to demonstrating my brow perfecting tools, I also introduced my lovely viewers to the latest addition to the Cat Harley Crown Collection – the Mariah unit. This unit is a high density lace front unit. She hangs at 28 inches of raw, virgin, curly Indian hair. Her warm caramel color is kissed with blonde highlights. Imagine her blowing down your back with her light color catching the sun. With warmer days just around the corner, she’s just the right look for the upcoming sundress season.

The Mariah unit and my Cat Harley Brow Series Collection are available; visit my website CatHarley.com to pick up these powerful brow tools and browse (pun intended) the hair units for the perfect look for your crown.

I’ll see you all on IG live in two weeks at 1:00 p.m. for another episode of the Cat Harley Connection.

In the meantime, I hope you all will continue connecting with me on Facebook, IG (@2ndbornsytlist), on YouTube, and on my website. Tell me about the beauty trends that interest you and an appointment or consultation with me so that we can connect on everything beauty!

Lace or No Lace

12/11/2021

Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the CatHarleyConnection. As always, I appreciate your support. Please keep your comments and feedback coming!

In today's show, I presented two options that may lead you to ask whether a lace front unit or no-lace unit is right for you..

During the episode, I showed you how I style my lace front "Grace" unit. This six-inch unit offers a short, sexy, edgy look that can go from day to night with ease. Its manageable length is perfect for those who are on the go. It also allows you to play around with different hair textures and lengths while preserving the health of your own hair.

In styling the “Grace,” I used my curling tool to enhance the existing body wave of the unit. By curling the “Grace'' in different directions, I created body and waves that gave the style more movement, more life.

Pro tip: I’m often asked how to prevent crimping when using heated tools in hair. Just keep that curling iron moving. Keeping your curling iron in one place in your hair can create those crimps.

In addition to styling “Grace”, I also introduced you to our custom u-part unit – “Xtina.” This unit is affectionately named after my sister.
Contact CHC
“Xtina” is a bob unit that features an effortless, beachy, ombre vibe. Unlike the “Grace,” the “Xtina” doesn’t have any lace at the front. Its u-part provides the wearer with the flexibility of wearing their hair out in the front and the top. “Xtina” can be clipped in, which allows for daily removal of the unit. Of course, you could also have it sewn in to enjoy the style a little longer. “

“Xtina” is a custom unit, for real. Creating her requires taking a mold of your head to get exact measures for a beyond perfect fit every time you wear it. Because this unit and every aspect of its creation is perfectly tailored to fit you, I cannot stress the importance enough of contacting the CatHarleyConnection for a consultation on either the “Grace'' or the “Xtina.”

So after checking out this latest episode,, what do you think? Lace front or no lace? Hmm, I figure, why not both?

Interested in rocking the “Grace” or “Xtina,” connect with CatHarley.com to schedule your introductory consultation.

That’s all for now. I’ll see you all in two weeks at 1:00 pm on Instagram Live.

Thank you for checking out the latest episode of TheCatHarleyConnection. As always, I appreciate your feedback and continued support.

In this episode, I’m continuing to boast the benefits of custom hair units. They can make hair styling and maintenance a breeze while keeping your hair healthy by protecting it from the rigors of everyday styling.
I’m introducing you all to my latest hair unit, “The Angie.”  This unit defines edgy! It features a pale icy blonde bob with a bold highlight in the front and soft waves that perfectly frame the face. With this unit, you’ll be sure to stand out and catch the eye in the best way possible.
And if you're looking for something that’s perfect for the season, check out the new “Pumpkin Spice” unit. I know I mentioned this unit in a previous episode, but I can’t say enough about it.
Picture
This beautiful one is for those who desire that natural look, with ombre copper highlights that evoke the colors of fall. This unit is perfect to take you from easy everyday styling to a more glamorous look for the evening. Both of these custom hair units are glueless, beginner-friendly bobs with lace closures. The great aspect of these units is that they are customized to you.

They are not like some low density, poorly constructed units you see on the internet that don’t quite fit right. My custom units are designed to suit you and your style perfectly. In addition, these units can be taken off at night, so that you can keep up with your night time healthy hair routine.
If you’re ready for a bold new you...the Cat Harley Collection has a customized unit to make it happen! Book your next hair and makeup appointment,

This is Part 2 of How Makeup can Rewind Time.  See all of the CHC Tips here
This week,   My very beautiful Mother (who we lovingly refer to as MaMa) was generous enough to be my model..  This gorgeous lady is 69 years old and I was very proud to have her as my Co-host and my Model.

In my continuing series of "How to Achieve a Sexy Look At Any Age" we focused on women age 50+ and a Sexy Valentine's Day look.
For this transformation, we created a deep brown, Smokey Eye ... paired with a peachy nude glossy lip which is my "go to" for a sexy date-night.

I know you’ll agree my model is a perfect example of how a woman 50+ can look and feel beautiful and sexy at any age ... and in this broadcast, we are preparing especially for Valentine’s Day.

These days,  with stress and the environment taking a toll, there's no need to allow age to affect your confidence or your appearance. With the right skin care and knowledge, CHC will have you aging backwards.  Take a look at this month’s issue of AARP featuring Viola Davis and you’ll get more perspective into what I mean about Rewinding Time!

In this week’s CHC Live, we also featured our 2 top most popular selling units "Ginger Spice" and "Leona", both are great choices for those who are new to units as well as experienced unit wearers.  My model definitely proves that CHC units transcend any myths about aging.

Now that you have plenty of ideas from my tips on rewinding time from 40 to any age… it’s time to make an appointment for your Valentine’s. Day hair and makeup session.

That’s why I want to teach you a really cool way to keep your skin GLOWING . I’m going to teach you how to make an Olive Oil Body Scrub that you can use on your lips, face, body and feet. It only takes a few items that you may already have in your pantry.  These four ingredients will change your life.  This recipe for an Olive Oil Scrub is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. These vitamins feed the skin nutrients needed to keep that healthy fresh glow.

BENEFITS OF OLIVE OIL SCRUB:
This scrub is rich in antibacterial properties as well as vitamins A, D, E, and K, which feed the skin moisture rich properties essential to healthy skin. This scrub also brightens the skin by gently removing dull surface layer skin. The lemon juice also naturally fades dark spots. Removing dead skin cells and cleaning your pores will reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

HOW TO APPLY YOUR OLIVE OIL SCRUB:
Apply this scrub in a circular  upward motion on a freshly cleansed damp  face not exceeding 2 mins ( Cat's Quick tip : set your phone for 2 mins) it's important to stay in this time frame the skin on the face is delicate  to avoid irritation or damage , rinse with cool water and  apply your toner  and moisturizer and lip balm as usual. Avoid the eye area.

When using as a body scrub cleanse with your favorite soap or body wash rinse now you are ready to apply your scrub. In  circular motion paying more attention to rough spots like knees, elbows , as well as the soles of the feet ( this scrub  also be used with your pumice stone or loofah sponge ) once you rinse with warm water  blot the excess water off your skin then apply your moisturizer while the skin is still moist.
